Tasks:
- Managing financial accounting in compliance with Czech accounting legislation, including support of monthly and annual closing activities
- Processing domestic and international business transactions and issuing invoices for customers within the EU and non-EU countries
- Handling the complete VAT agenda, including VAT reporting, EC Sales Lists, and the correct tax assessment of international transactions
- Preparing and submitting Intrastat reports, statistical reports, and mandatory submissions to public authorities
- Cooperating with auditors, preparing audit documentation, and communicating with colleagues across the organization
- Working with the SAP ERP system and supporting the optimization of accounting and financial processes
Requirements:
- Experience in financial accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Czech accounting and tax regulations
- Practical experience with international trade transactions and VAT compliance
- Experience in preparing Intrastat reports and statistical reporting
- Practical experience working with SAP is beneficial
- Good working knowledge of English or German
- Strong ability to work independently, take responsibility, and think analytically
